September Naptime Reads

My naptime reading was light this month, but I did get in two really great reads, recommended by both my mom and BFF. Those are, essentially, the most important of recommenders, so I immediately downloaded both books on my tablet and got my Regency romance on.

Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson: It only took me about, oh, five whole seconds before I was sucked into this story and its swoon-worthy romance. While I was cringing for the entirety of the book at the mother figures in this story, I thoroughly enjoyed rooting for the romance of Kate and Henry (SA-WOONx100!) and being transported to the magnificent setting of Blackmoore. 8/10

Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson: I, of course, had to read Donaldson’s other book after devouring Blackmoore, and only a day or so later, I had gobbled up this one as well. She nails these male love interests, let me just tell you. Okay, so Philip didn’t have me charmed quite like Henry, but Marianne was relatable and it’s another story you can get lost in. Those are my favorite kind. 🙂   7/10

I know, I know. Time to hit the books this next month. What are you reading?
